dream interpretation
After 12 years of college, ya'd think i'd be done with college dreams (and that i could spell). i graduated in 97 BTW. Lately i have been having lots of dreams where i am new to some college and i keep blowing it, either not getting registered for my classes on time, forgetting to do my homework or read my assignments, and showing up on test days without having studied. It never gets beyond that, lile i never flunk a test or get in trouble for not turning in my homework, i only have the anxiety of blowing it. Just curious what the dream interpreters here might think. i have been having these dreams almost every night for a couple weeks now. Thanks.

I'm not sure...not being into all the dreamy shit...so while I'm sure you'll get a better answer out of someone I'll give my own.
I think the overall deal is that a lot of "interaction" with people+events are reflective of your perception of their perception of you... Perhaps you've been in similar situations, or you fear for experience of a situation in which you've lost initiative and felt like you let yourself down, then of course if/when people are down on themselves they can feel looked down on by the outside world too. Or perhaps you have no experience of this whatsoever...and merely worry, consciously or otherwise about the potential? There you go, that's it.

i am pretty much a hermit that works about an hour or so a week, if that. i spend some hour or so a day in the presence of people, the rest of my time is spent alone, either reading history, working on my book, or watching movies. i live a very dedicated ascetic life, giving up meat and alcohol and most all other luxuries such that i can see what it is like to exist without desire. The only thing that is going on in my life is that i have been considering getting back into the mainstream world, but to be honest i'm pretty happy as is. Recently i have hade a bone in my foot die, and am now pretty much a cripple, but to be honest it is no big deal. Hope that helps all ya interpretors out their. As always thank you for your input. Ashe.

Well, then college dreams make a lot of sense. Being a person who's outside of the mainstream world, you don't have a lot of people evaluating you, but by getting out there and finishing the book you expose yourself to scrutiny and testing. I started having college dreams again when my first book came out and whenever I get close to finishing other ones, they come back. It's hard going from somebody who only has to have their own approval and that of certain loved ones to somebody who has to gain the approval of strangers or the outside world. Whenever I get a bad review, I almost automatically dream about college registration.
