Can't go there

Was there ever a horror movie that you just could not watch because it just seemed too scary?

For me it was Chainsaw massacre.

Let me guess your a vegetarian?

Anyway some other reasons that I don't watch some horror movies is because of the suggestive themes that go too far. Like Doom, I only watched it once and never will again. I will watch some that have suggestive themes. I am Christian and don't watch too many that deal with witch craft either.

I want to watch ghost stories but the last time I watched ghost hunters my parents gave me a long lecture. Even though I live in an apartment now I am not too sure.

I can't watch any Saw movies.
Never have, never will...I even turn the channel on the ads for it.

I was also disturbed from cannibal holocaust...not scared...there's a difference, IMO I turned it off the first time, but actually completed it the second try,l with watching it.

I don't get scared with a movie, but they can disturb me,I always push myself to see how far I can go.To see if I can get scared,or to see what does disturb me.

Nope...I have some creepy recommendations, but I've finished every movie I've ever started. Haven't had any issues yet. Maybe when I was really young, I found something to be frightening. But I've watched those films since, and have had no lasting issues. Same goes for any current films.

Cannibal Holocaust didn't bother me as a lot of other people. I thought the animal killings were essential to the themes of the film. I thought it was a dig at all the seedy Mondo flicks... but lets face it the film was being just as exploitative.

I found Franju's Blood of the Beasts documentary more disturbing than Cannibal Holocaust. But its a healthy dose of reality most people choose to ignore.

But back on topic... nothing is really to much for me to watch knowing that its staged/fiction. I enjoy getting disturbed every no and then nothing quite beats having a movie move you in that way. The eyeball scene (and overall tone & intentions) in The Devil's Experiment and the fucked up bathtub scene in Mordum two scenes that really fucked my shit up and I was questioning why I watch tiwisted films.

The headshot scene in the documentary Executions takes the cake for the most disturbing scene I've ever witenessed.

The Manipulator with Mickey Rooney is one I had to watch several times to get to the end just because I find it so disturbing, inhuman and off.
