My phoneline got cut off...and my adsl2+ provider gave me some line about needing an active phoneline...whatever...I dropped them too, and I've been trying to sort out another adsl2 connection at home.
May take a while apparently, 14-21 days?

Well that sucks....was your phone company separate from the internet one? Nowadays...I'm not sure, but it might work to your benefit to go with the company that offers the triple threat: the cable, the phone service, and the internet. That way whenever something gets fucked up, you can blame them for it all---:D That and, it won't be so much stress flipping back and forth, waiting and waiting with the different parties.
