Goblin's DAWN OF THE DEAD score is great as is their work on SUSPIRIA, TENEBRE and DEEP RED
Carpenter's HALLOWEEN might be the second most iconic horror music (behind Bernard Herrman's PSYCHO) James Bernard's work for Hammer Films is really solid, particularly on THE CURSE OF fRANKENSTEIN, THE HORROR OF DRACULA, THE DEVIL RIDES OUT and FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED (just to name a few)

Goblin
This one sounds creepy to me, some people think it sounds happy, to each their own. More Goblin Here's a link with a few good ones, no classics though. The music of Vampyr is great, but do some searching, there is a TON of great horror movie music out there.

I think the music played to the chase scene at the start of 28 weeks later was the best ever. it suited it to a tee. great stuff.
