Cool Ahh...... Productivity

I have made no secret the past couple of years that while I may not care for someo of the people i have worked for, I love the kind of work I do. A major source of frustration the past few years has been feeling unproductive: banging my head against the wall on problems, working hard and not getting paid, so NOT working, and the worst was working for Fidelity where I literally did about a week's worth of work in 9 months.

This sint the case where I am now. For the first time in years I am balls-out busy and I am loving it. The work is challenging but ultimately satisfying. I am getting props for doing a good job.

And most Importantly, I am craving the hard stuff. Nothign is insurmountable, just a bigger challenge.

Is anyone else lucky enough to be doing something they enjoy and workign their ass off doing it?

yes - but you are an unrepentant alcoholic - so you've already found your one true passion in life. now, barring you get a job as a professional sloppy drunk, then you'll just have to balance your time between banal work and delightful drunken delirium

Programmer/web developer.

I am working contract to perm right now, so if i dont screw up in the next few months, then I become a full time wage slave :)

I am doing automated testing right now, writing scripts that run a web application through the browser with no human interference. it is really cool. :D
