I would like to know the answer to this aswell. A lot of the trailers I've seen remind me of the 8 films to die for movies in style but I'm sure they can't be as good. For example, Last House in the Woods looks really good but I've heard otherwise. I just love the dark, gritty feel of indie horror though so i will likely watch them all anyway.
