Pick their brain...
Stephen King is probably one of the most famous horror writers of all time. Clive Barker is revered as a genius in modern Horror cinema. These two were just born to write some of the most sick, twisted horror tales that the world could all pee their pants to.
However, some people you would expect to be talented in this case might actually surprise you. I just watched House of 1000 Corpses, strictly on the fact that it was a horror movie influenced by Rob Zombie. With his music, I just naturally assumed this would be frightening. I was, to say the least, incredibly wrong. It was, for lack of a better word, tame. Nonetheless, what person in life would you like to hear a horror story from, whether it be in a book or on the big screen? My next best guess would be Marilyn Manson. Just like Zombie, I'm not a huge fan of the music. But they both have a tendancy to push the edge when it comes to music. Because of this, I'm willing to bet Manson's vision of a hgorror movie would be strange and gorey...just what I'm looking for. Agree, disagree or suggest. I'm looking for opinions. |

I'd like to see John Woo do a balls-out zombie shooter and spray the screen with blood and guts. Okay, so it would be just like his old movies, but with zombies.

Well I loved 1000 corpses but then I am a Zombie nut, you really want a good horror film I think you need to think outside the box and look at people who dont have the money to make a film. I write alot but if i did a horror film it would be the most twisted gore filled thing that you ever saw. Would it be scary, maybe. Some of the thoughts that are going on inside my head are quite frightening.

I also love 1000 corpses, but I will agree it was tamer than had hoped. Would love to see all the extra footage that was shot like the snuff movie part. Have no idea why so much was edited out. Not sure if I'm boteherd about the sequel though.
