From Great to Garbage in One Shot
The shit movie tournament made me go on a tangent ..
The Ring was a good movie .. a landmark in horror film history - it was well made and was the introduction for most folks to the world of asian horror cinema. then #2 comes out ... and was complete garbage. boggles the mind that someone can mess up something that good in one fell swoop. I feel the same way about The Matrix. what other films are there where you felt the origional was fantastic, and the sequel was incredibly bad ?

I really think that most sequels don't live up to their prececessors (like Cube and Hypercube), but I'm still trying to come up with one that was completely horrible attached to a really good original
Friday The Thirteenth came to mind...But, I can't really call part 2 'garbage' Hmm...I'll give this some thought
