Transformers
I just sat through this steaming pile of garbage. By the time it was over my ass was almost as numb as my brain. How the hell do you make a movie about giant death robots so incredibly mind-numbingly boring? It was about as exciting as a Jane Austen book.
Long, loud, pretentious and stupid. It tried to be funny. It wasn't. It tried to be exciting. It wasn't. It tried to be romantic, intelligent and it even tried to be touching. Am I actually supposed to care when the yellow robot(don't even remember his name) is being captured? And the final battle scene... it's so loud and fast that I have no idea who's fighting and why I should care who wins. Fail, fail, fail. And I don't care if the special effects were fantastic. With computer technology in its current state, this is to be expected. What the hell happened to good writing? Two nine year olds playing with the transformer toys in their backyard could write a better movie than this piece of shit. Watching this movie is like having a slow frontal lobotomy.

I really hated it as well, I'm a Transformers kid from the 80's... This was garbage!

I've seen about ten minutes of the action scenes, which according to some, is much preferable to watching the whole thing...

I thought it was one of the better "family friendly" films of 2007. It was too long and it wasn't deep by any means but it joined enough action and comedy to be a fun sit through in the theaters. As far as Starscream not trying to overthrow Megatron, they're building a franchise, it'll happen. I guess I just can't understand how somebody could walk into a summer blockbuster based on a cartoon from the 80's directed by Michael Bay and expect a deep storyline.

Effects were great, action was decent, acting was decent, humor was decent. I thought it was fun and liked it. I don't want every single movie I watch to be some deep, thought provoking masterpiece. Goofy action is just fine with me.

My sentiments exactly, Austin. Plus, there was Megan Fox.:D
Drooling aside, I thought it was a decent, fun entertainer. Coming on the heels of the rather disappointing summer blockbusters, I thought it was okay. Not great, but likeable. Psst...did I mention Megan Fox?

I thought it was very much like the teenage angst movies of the 80's. Stop me if you've heard this all before... You know the school joke gets picked on by the jock and almost everybody else. The jock is going out with the girl that the joke really wants to be with. Then joke turns out to be the person thats gonna save the world and gets the girl. Hmmm, i know the Transformers was from the 80's , so i guess even though it came out this year, they decided to make the movie with an 80's feel in the plot. I have seen it twice, i liked it better the first time i saw it. The second time really didn't grab me as much as i thought it would.

I thought it was...okay. I didn't like the fight scenes, but then a lot of films fight scenes are like that. I think the films that did it best are the star wars films. And I remember Bumblebee "The yellowish one" from the cartoon. I think you were a bit harsh but it wasn't what I expected. What they need is a Transformers - Beast Wars movie. I LOVED Beast wars.
