Need help with movie memories!
I remember this movie from when I was a kid. It seemed really weird and I didn't understand it, but then again it was the 70's! Any help anyone could give me would be very much appreciated.
Something about a ring that once put on, couldn't be taken off. There were allot of people in a big old house, maybe a dinner party? I remember a part about a man either falling out of a window or being pushed and attack dogs below. There was also some old woman that was on her death bed in the house, and the bed had ( I think) plastic drapes around the bed, possibly to keep out germs. Then some of the people tried to get away from the house and drove away, but all the roads seemed to lead back to the house. This is pretty much all I can remember, so if any of it rings a bell, please let me know! |

movie title
The movie you are thinking of is the 1978 classic THE LEGACY with Sam Elliot, Katherine Ross (Mrs. Elliot), Roger Daltry and others I don't remember. The dying person was an old man and the rings were part of a pact with satan.
Excellent movie. nonchee :D |

yup - these things always come in runs.
1st there was The Gate - asked for several times - thus the long running joke. another that gets asked about a lot is Dont be Afraid of the Dark (Kim Darby)
