House on Haunted Hill! He'll love it, it isn't gory, and it's exciting through and through.

Sounds good, I'll either watch that, or maybe friday the 13th, because he's obsessed with Jason, thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah! House on Haunted Hill is great for a kid, it is creepy and scary and not too much.

Night of the Living Dead would be good if he complains that Haunted Hill "isn't scary enough."

Friday the 13th, one could argue, is gory violence...whether it's too gory, only you can decide...

Gremlins 2 and Creepshow are both good. Gremlins 2 is of course the lighter, funnier of the two.

Heh heh...happy to help!

I remember when I was a kid, on certain family visits to relatives' houses, I would find a ghost comic book, or something like that, mysteriously lying around, and I loved that kind of stuff and would immediately gravitate towards it.

Looking back now, I realize that those were put there specifically for me, because a horror comic was the quickest, cheapest way of keeping me quiet and out of trouble!

Creepshow - Totally.

The Stephen King segment will leave him rolling. My 9 year-old and 4 year-old both love it.

Then Gremlins 2

I agree with Roderick and crabby. Except for the stephen King thing, I hated that stupid plant garbage, lol.
