Memories of Murder
Memories of Murder is a brilliant Korean crime/thriller about the first recorded serial killer in S. Korean history and the search to catch him. It's very reminiscent of Citzen X, another fave of mine about a similar tale in Russia. A bit slow for the gorehounds in the crowd and mostly focusing on the detectives who are on the hunt for the killer, it's nevertheless fascinating to see how jumping to conclusions and the rounding up of the usual suspects is a fatal approach to cases involving true psycopaths. If you have a taste for true serial killer stuff, you'll love it.
