Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Ok, Im fully aware that this is not a horror movie, do you really think I care? It has Lovecraft refrences, I think that qualifies. I mostly just want to rant about a certain part of the film that really pissed me off.
***Huge Ass Spoilers*** THE GODDAMN ENDING. What the fuck. I mean sure, it did it's job. It's there to hype up the 3rd movie and it worked. But really, could they piss off the audience anymore than that? Build up to some crazy coool shit, kill off Jack, ressurect the best character from #1 (other than Jack, of course)...then roll the credits.:mad: :mad: :mad: I completly realise that this is exactly the reaction that they want, but it still pissed me off. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it. Not as good as the first but still alot of fun. DAMN THE ENDING TO HELL

i have to confess i actually liked the first one but thought this one was too confusing - too much plot, too much reliance on me remembering anything about the first film, not enough johnny 'drunken cary grant' depp - the whole forced keira knightly twist at the end (with the shackles) was painfully abrupt. . . overall too too much (and for that matter too too long)
