Odd Pregnancy Cravings
When I was pregnant with Wicked Lady, I HAD to have Taco Bell Burrito Supremes, usually in the middle of the night, every night...I also had to have lots of spinach........And the thing that made me sick (although I usually love it) was Pizza...Smelling pizza would make me feel like I was gonna vomit...and even pizza commercials made me feel nauseous...
With Demon Seed...What I had to have was mashed potatoes with gravy, and macaroni and cheese......It was peanut butter that made me sick..That was when they had those PB Max commercials on about every 30 minutes, those REALLY got me sick... Anyway...Your body is supposed to make you crave things that the baby needs....I understand the spinach, as Wicked Lady was born with a slight iron deficiency...I do NOT get the rest... As for the pickles and ice-cream thing everyone is supposed to crave, I'd say that the ice-cream would be for calcium, but the pickles don't make sense....And I would never eat such a thing...Pregnant or not... So...Have any of you, your mothers, friends or relatives, ever experienced any weird cravings, or strange sudden aversions to the foods you normally like, during pregnancy?...

When my sister was pregnant, she only wanted to eat ice cream cakes and ice cream sandwiches...
I got sick of lookin' at em after a week.
