Black Circle Boys

hello to everybody
has anyone ever seen Black Circle Boys. I remember seeing it god, 6 or 7 years ago and thinking it was cool. If I watch it again now...I'll see either it was really great and I was right OR that I was just young and it sucked horribly.

Wasn't that movie based on a true story??? I think I remember which one you are talking about...but at the time I was"forbidden" to see it.

Yes, I own it. It was loosey (VERY loosey) based on Ricky Kasso, who killed a kid for stealing drugs. There's another movie based on Kasso called Ricky 6, which is closer to the actual story than Black Circle Boys, which really only took a few aspects of the story (Shane killing Leary for stealing drugs and Shane's preoccupation with satanism, which is actually in dispute as far as Ricky Kasso's story goes).

However, Black Circle Boys, in my opinion, is a pretty good film. Kind of corny, but an interesting interpretation nonetheless. The acting was decent (Eric Mabius from Cruel Intentions and Resident Evil, Scott Bairstow from Tuck Everlasting and Party of Five, Chad Lindberg from The Fast and the Furious and A LOT of TV shows like ER, Cold Case Files and Law and Order, and Dee Wallace-Stone from Cujo, The Stepford Wives, The Howling, The Hills Have Eyes, etc.), the story was good, nothing pointless or distracting was thrown in. Um, the fight scene at the end was kind of ... retarded, but funny. Our local Blockbuster has it available to rent, and I think I ordered my copy through their website. Oh, it's also got a pretty creepy looking Donnie Wahlberg. I was a huge New Kids fan when I was a kid, so that was kinda nice to see him there.
