The story is told from the viewpoint of the detective in charge of the case.

Rewatch. Surprisingly good for a 'tv movie.' Not sure how accurate the movie is in regards to the history of the case or what the Soviet Union was like in the 80's to 1990. Decently acted. Not a lot of gore, but the bodies are decently done, again, for a tv movie. Not a lot of ''action.' The story is interesting enough to make the time go by without notice.

5.5/10
I think I liked it a little more than you did, Boss. Maybe I'd give it a 6.5? It's definitely not loaded with action but I loved the performances, especially from Steven Rea and Jeffrey DeMunn. As a period piece, and viewed as a drama/police procedural, I think it entertains.

It was nice to be reminded of this movie, man. Thanks, I'm probably going to toss it in the player this evening.
