'A mockumentary? Makes it sound like a comedy, or at least a parody. Why do you call it a mockumentary? Was it in documentary style with a narrator & stuff?'
Part of it is sort of found footage - meant to be be like the The Family home movies. The is also a segment (not FF) set in contemporary times.
The tatlented Jim Van Bebber directed it - I loved it. It doesn't particularly exploit the crimes, no more than any other film on the subject.
