I'm going to watch the original. This American version is a fairly good mystery. Only kind of ruined in the second to last episode with a bit of dialog by one of the main characters that basically says this person is involved. But it's a family horror story in a way. I felt sad at the end although I wished there was a decision since the show turns out to be cancelled.

I think at the end of last season I said I wouldn't watch this anymore. Or at least only watch the first few episodes. I should have stuck to that as even though the show got better for those first few episodes, it turned back again to something I don't want to watch. This time I'm sticking to it and not watching next season. The character of Rick Grimes seemed to jump around this season from a guy that knew what needed to be done, to telling people he was once a cop and using snipers to cover his position, only to seconds later walk into a unknown bottleneck ambush setting that anyone with common sense would know is a bad idea. Add in the insane characters and the only for shock ending that many across the Internet have a problem with, equals me no longer watching this. I don't care if it has zombies in it and great special effects. Many people call it a soap opera with zombies. I think that's true now.
