I still think the Poltergeist clown was the most terrifying for me(because I was probably like 13 when I first saw that movie), and Pennywise would be higher on my list.
And I'll tell you that while I made some scary clown films(Fear of Clowns 1&2), none of them was frightening to me other than Giggles the Clown from FOC2--that actor(Phil Levine) was so in character it was freaky.
