One of my absolute favorite authors. I feel a kinship because he grew up in the Midwest in a simpler time and witnessed a lot of change in the world, very similar to my background.
I love every single book, so it's hard to pick favorites, but I think Something Wicked This Way Comes, and the collection October Country really stand out.
He and Lovecraft are the two biggest influences on my own writing.
