			Gravity (2013)

I think this is one of the few films that actually lives up to the media hype. This movie is non-stop suspense. Sandra Bullock has some of the worst luck in outer space.

The Colony (2013)

I checked this out because of Laurence Fishburne and Bill Paxton. In a post apocalyptic world devastated by an ice age what's left of humanity survives in underground colonies. When they answer an SOS call from their neighboring colony they discover almost everyone killed by a pack of cannibals. Although the basic premise is familiar there were some genuinely tense scenes. The CGI looked good and there was some really brutal gore.
