HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS (1970)-They really cram a couple of years into 90 minutes and really more for fans of the TV series. However, it's a lot more bloody and violent than the show, playing out much of the time like a Hammer film from the period. Still miles above the horrible Tim Burton misfire. ***1/2
