I don't get how a bunch of middle-class Englishmen can all of a sudden be experts in kung-fu, despite not being in physical shape. I know that the response to this will be: 'it's just a movie'. BUT, I'm not buying it this time. And here is why:
If you are going to be a comedy film in which the rules of logic don't apply, that is fine, but don't try and shoe-horn in an emotional message, because it just doesn't work. It felt phony and I spent the whole time waiting for the movie to end.
Was thoroughly disappointed by this one.

I didn't like it either - aside from the very end.
I just thought it was yet another 'Simon Pegg the slacker' movie.
There must be 4 of those already??
Hot Fuzz was a nice change -
