Best game ever is probably a marketing stretch. None of the GTA games are best ever quality to me. All very easy, guide you around games. A lot of money spent on the world, music, voices, etc. Just like all the other big titles that are far from best game ever. Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, and others come to mind. But I haven't played the new GTA yet. It does seem to have some cool hidden horror / sci-fi stuff. I've seen pictures on the Internet showing Bigfoot and Aliens.

To be honest, it's much like gta4, just bigger and better.
But it isn't mindblowingly awsome. The Best game of the year is still "The last of us".
