I would not necessarily recommend (namely the first one because it is too messed up for me)some of these films, but some other examples would be Cannibal Holocaust (this one is really messed up), Videodrome, Slither (I did not think it was too bad, but a lot of people said it was crazy disgusting), anything Fulci (he is well-known for his weird movies)- best examples would be Zombi 2 (includes famous eye gouging out scene), House by the Cemetery, and The Beyond. Also, It's Alive (these are about killer babies). These would probably be some good movies that I think would match your description. No offense, but I have to agree with neverending, that if you put Jason vs Freddy and Gremlins on a list of top ten most weird, crazy movies, then you really do need to watch more movies. Honestly, any of the movies (even the least weird and crazy) would probably deserve to be on such a list than those two movies (although I could see the argument for Gremlins). Don't get me wrong, in my opinion, those are great films, I just don't believe those should be on a crazy, weird list, especially Freddy vs Jason. There were definitely some really weird movies on that list, though.
