The Monk (2011)
Decent horror/thriller based on the 1796 Gothic novel by Matthew Lewis. Lots of disturbing revelations though a tad slow at points. A well-told story of how even seemingly incorruptible men can descend into madness; sanity is a slippery term. 3.5 stars out of 5.
