As much as I love the Castle gimmicks, including the punishment poll, I gotta be honest and say the more I think about that film, the more I think it didn't need the gimmick. Such a dark, gothic tale that it just should've left out the punishment poll and let the story flow naturally to its conclusion.
EDIT: That said, Sardonicus crept into my 60s top 20 list.
