I am pretty impressed with all 10 listed, though I felt a few other noteworthy ones are very conspicuous by their absence, for e.g., the sleeping bag death in
Friday the 13th Part VII, the bed death in the original
Nightmare on Elm Street, the tub death in the original
Final Destination, tummy opening up to chomp arms off in
The Thing (Carpenter), etc. (those that come to mind right away). Will think of more later.
Any others you can suggest which are uniquely creative?
