Hey, cool...
I'll post a pic of some of mine when they were babies, and a couple of the last generation..
What I heard was right too, you guys over there do get a different species (or breed - whatever) of rat.
The ones in your pic have a more stout body, a wider head and a broader snout, the ones we get over here are more slender, longer, and have a slightly pointier nose. However, the difference isn't very great at all, they do look PRETTY MUCH the same.
Rats rock , man! they're so easy to take care of, they eat just about anything, they're interesting to watch, and the thing I love the most about 'em is that they like us too - they actually seek human companionship. It's funny how people who haven't met and/or owned rats just don't "get" that, huh?
Anyways, as promised, I took a couple of pics of the female ferret, Hera.
