The Reflecting Skin (1990) Intriguing and mysterious masterpiece directed by Phillip Ridley (The Passion Of Darkly Noon, Heartless). Though I still prefer Heartless I strongly recommend this as well. It's one of those rare gems that stands the test of time even though it is a period piece of unspecified date. Stunning performances from everyone, beautiful cinematographer that purposefully masters the setting of rural life. Very much a film open to interpretation but there is enough on the canvas to fully impress the viewer. Watch with an open mind and open a treasure of mystique :)
