Call your doctor and explain why you would like a second pre-op. Follow his/her advice. If the advice is to go ahead with the operation, do it. They're trying to make you healthy.
I had a collapsed lung when I was 13 and had major surgery to have part of a lung removed. I'm glad I had the operation, as the alternative was to die. I spent a long time in the hospital recovering.
Get this taken care of. Your condition is not going to get better just because you ignore it.
