Phantom's Review: Like most of the recent Nic Cage movies, this one was here and gone in a moments flash, so my expectations were very, very low but too my complete surprise, this was actually a very entertaining movie. Obviously made to cash in on the popularity of the "Harry Potter" franchise, it was still a fun film filled with good FX ,a good story, likable characters and good villains. I liked it.

I liked that too. I've been enjoying Cage's movies lately. He seems to have an energy for them now which i haven't seen lately. Sorcerer's Apprentice reminded me of National Treasure. Obviously not in story or anything but his excitement for it.
