Written and directed by Pedro Almodovar and stars Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya and Marisa Paredes, the film is said to be based upon Thierry Jonquet’s novel
The Tarantula.
The preliminary Spanish release date is September 2, 2011. The film will be released in a limited North American release on November 18 the same year through Sony Pictures Classics.
