City of the Living Dead (1980)
Not one of my favourite movies...not even one of my favourite Fulci movies...but I had the chance to see a screening of a crackly old 35mm print for its 30th anniversary - how could any self-respecting horror fan turn that down?
The movie has its flaws to be sure (and lots of 'em), but there's still that great Fulci atmosphere and some damn cool gore / set-pieces. Add the fact that it was a midnight show in a theatre full of half-drunk horror nuts heckling every single thing, and it makes for a pretty damn fun night.
