Back to the Future Poised for a December Release
Game adaptation will release on the PC and Mac, followed by PS3 and iPad versions
Fire up your DeLoreans, because the Back to the Future: The Game is slated for a Christmas release on the PC and Mac. PS3 and iPad versions will be churned out soon thereafter.
Touted as "a completely new adventure", the developer Telltale Games reveals that the game is set six months after events in the third installment of the movie. The official release reads:
Quote:
"Marty and Doc embark on a completely new cinematic time-travel adventure. The story unfolds across five exciting episodes, with a new installment releasing each month."
|
This time around, Marty McFly (unfortunately not voiced by Michael J. Fox) uses the DeLorean to travel back in time and rescue the Doc, who is entangled in a new adventure set in another time period.
Back to the Future: The Game will be released in the form of monthly episodic content starting this December.
The game will retail for $25.
In deference to Michael J. Fox's award winning effort towards Parkinson's disease awareness, a dollar from every pre-order placed at telltalegames.com will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
