There are some people who become sex addicts because they think they're worthless due to molestation, neglect or abuse. Just as many people develop eating disorders because of that. And a spiral or worthlessess starts. You make a child feel worthless, they get worthless. So, a lot of the time, obesity is a consequence of mental illness. I have seen many a slovenly inbred aberration against God who doesn't have the drive to eat anything besides chicken nuggets, I will concede to that, but I don't think you have the whole story on obesity. Should an obese person sue for discrimination? Depends on the job. If the job is one in which a person will need to be moving around, it stands to reason, you should pick a lighter, more agile person. This is not a matter of discrimination, this is a matter of logic. A person with Down Syndrome shouldn't sue because they can't be head of the Journalism department at Columbia. BUT if an obese person is doing intellectual work for which they are more qualified than other applicants, then they should sue. If Alfred Hitchcock wanted to be a film professor and they hired some thinner grad student instead, he would have been right to sue the living fuck out of those people. If I found out somebody refused to publish work of mine because I'm forty pounds overweight, I'd feel like suing the fuck out of them. Then again, you'd have to be an idiot to not publish authors who are overweight because about sixty percent of us are.

authors are exempt. alfred hitchcock's weight was always changing, so he wanted to lose weight and was able to, but he could never keep it off. for the most part fat people are worse for the environment (even considering the fact that they die sooner) the medical system (again even though they die sooner) and smell worse. most of them can change and decide not to.

Fat People Stink 29
I am so angry at how disrespectful fat people are towards thin people. *yet* we cannot be equally disrespectful back. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Sometimes I just want to climb a lightpost in a very public place and shout: "Fat people suck! Fat people are unhealthy pathetic people who demand that I have more respect for them than they obviously have for themselves! Fat people aslo stink and that's a gross distgusting FACT! Fat is NOT fabulous! FAT is weak. YOU are the weak links. I will never hire you. I will never work for you. I will never marry you. I REJECT YOU and your slobby, blubbering, whining, oinking ways." Ahhhh. I feel better. Now I'm gong to finish eating my tuna salad while Fat Ass in the next cubicle munches away on her doritos and oreos. Oink oink stinky. Keep on shovin' it in.
