Psychological thriller about a 9 year old boy slowly causing the destruction of his family after the birth of his sister. The boy is an extremely intelligent sociopath, his parents gradually worn down by his manipulations and the burden of a newborn child. Its a very slow burner with a great deal of time taken to build the tension to reasonable effect. I believe this film was billed as a an Omen type but its not, there is no supernatural or OTT elements just one little boy devoid of feeling slowly driving his parents to the edge.
Its an OK film, worth a viewing. Sam Rockwell is more than capable as the father and carries this film along quite nicely.
