My only gripe (and POSSIBLE HUGE SPOILERS) is how the heck did she learn to shoot so accurately??

Other than that, this is one modern times movie which has left an impression on me. The gripe aside, this one's good enough to get a solid 07/10, and my rec to all my friends here - Fort, Chrono, Return, Roshiq, Newb, NE, Psycho_d, Straker...see if you can pick this up.

* * * ½ stars.
A must see no doubt. Great execution and dark dark dark.

Last seen:
Duck, You Sucker AKA A Fistful of Dynamite (1971). Sergio Leone may have just outdone himself with this film. A pooper at the box office, this is truly one of Leone's finest films. I must admit that it threatened to be otherwise, and about 1/3 of the way through it seemed to lose momentum. Looking back, it was only shifting gears from that of fun and silly entertainment to that of a serious movie making a profound statement. The acting was awesome, and Coburn's impressive skills were only overshadowed by a magnificent performance by Rod Steiger. Ernio Morricone's score brilliantly lent an emotional overtone, especially during the flashbacks that both gave answers and led to more questions. Duck, You Sucker is a perfect example of the coming of age of an ingenious director... Merci beaucoup.
