The New Barbarians being part of the Bronx Warriors series is news to me. Same director of course (Enzo G. Castellari). It looks like a cool set once its opened up especially how they've taken the time to do some new traditional styled artwork. I'd personally go with the Shriek show set and pick up a local release of Escape From The Bronx because their stuff has better transfers and their triple packs are dirt cheap... and a tin case vs. a solid version of 2019: After The Fall Of New York is no contest.
Don't really trust anything like this that's R2 because uncut usually means cut with a couple of seedy frames edited in.

escape from the bronx is a new remastering, supposedly the first anamorphic copy.
shamless have done very well with their releases so far, who'd have thought we'd get an uncut release of night train murders, a complete rebuild of baba yaga, a correctly edited version of my dear killer.

sounds like you got burned a few times with the vipco releases, they were famous for their "uncut" releases.
