I liked #1 way more.
2 was good and all, in terms of the intricacy of some of the death scenes, but the movie seemed to have a bigger cast just to have more 2-dimensional expendable characters.
The first was funnier, and the mortuary "?death?" dude had way cooler lines.
The bitch in the second one with the airbag/pipe incident was kinda funny, you knew that bitch had it comin'.

I liked 'em both, #2 was one of the better (but nowhere near the best) horror sequels, especially for the last few years.

I gotta say tho, I preferred Idol Hands to both of 'em.
