I'm a huge fan of ON whey protein shakes.. 22 bucks or so for a good amount of it. You just need about 30-35g per serving or so.. and typically the best time to take it in is 30-45 minutes after strength training (whatever that may be for you)
You can also go with SOY protein if you want to switch it up.
