Foot taller than the rest of the crowd, camera around your neck and buying a stack of DVDs the first time I spotted you - wasn't that hard to put things together ;)

And yeah, that's understandable about Kier...can see that getting annoying for sure.

Did you catch any of the Q&As? They were my favourite part...caught Bruce Campbell, Roger Corman and Barbara Steele, plus and impromptu Q&A with Robert Hall, Thomas Dekker and Nick Principe (very cool guys) after the Laid to Rest screening.

Bruce was a riot, you can tell he's a true showman. Really seemed like he was enjoying himself and having fun with the crowd, which was cool. Hilarious speaker, and exactly what you'd expect.

Corman was pretty soft-spoken (like Urge said - he's getting up there in years), but still a very interesting person to listen to. Gave a super truncated version of his famous speech for first time directors, talked a lot about how the industry worked back in the 60's-70's...gave a nice detailed account of doing acid with Jack Nicholson while prepping for The Trip, heh. Just seemed like a really cool, laid back guy.

Barbara Steele was probably my favourite of them all. Still looking gorgeous, and an incredible storyteller. The guy interviewing her was kind of an idiot (argued with her over where Shivers was filmed, based on IMDB:rolleyes:), but she was fascinating. I got to ask her a question myself, which was really cool - acting tips from one of the genre greats? Can't beat that.

I'll be going back next year for damn sure...had a blast. Really glad you posted these pics Urge - I didn't bother to take many, but looking through these puts me right back there. Awesome :)
