And now for the curious-minded who want to know what this is about (before throwing their hats in), it goes like this :

• Each one of you will be asked to list NINE of your favorite choices - in movies, music, books, comics, TV shows & games.
  
• Each category is coded, from 1-9.
  
• A random category will be selected each time, and three choices (of three random participants) in that category will be in a showdown with each other.
  
• HDC sees, HDC calls. Even those whose choices end up in the showdown, will be allowed to vote in it. Each showdown will be a run to 5, so whichever choice reaches 5 first, wins.
  
• Your choice wins...you end up with 1 point. Ergo, +1.
  
• Your choice loses...you end up with -1.
  
• All of that is added up to the table of HDC Showdown, and then the eliminations begin. Till we find our eventual winner.
