Another horror fan/ wannabe(I could do it better than that) writer here. I've always enjoyed a good horror movie, but the written word is my first love.

I could give you my marital status, the number of kids I've got, how many houses I own, and all that crap, but really who cares?

It's all about the horror, right?

I like it dark and twisted. Show me the gore, without showing me the gore. I don't need blood splattered walls and severed limbs. I don't need the "F" word in every sentence. I want to experience that overpowering menace waiting just beyond view. The nightmare over the next hill. You know it's there, you know it's gonna get you, but you're powerless to stop yourself from taking just one little peek.

I grew up on Lovecraft and Poe. Weird Tales comics, and Saturday night Creature Features. I read Blatty's "Exorcist" with the book hidden in a text book while I was supposed to be studying. I've heartily contributed my hard earned money to King, Koontz, Keene, and Ketchum for brief respites from this thing we call reality. And I've gladly contributed equally to the rest of the alphabet as well.
