You play a character who is trying to become a famous musician. You learn to play instruments, record songs, go on tours, etc. It's a long term thing- you play a bit every day and rise in the charts, etc. It's a pretty nerdy thing for wannabe rock stars- dunno if somebody who really is a cool musician already would find it interesting.
