While doing the research for my latest challenge in HDC IDOL about the probable next film of Frank Darabont based on a short story of Stephen King, I have found at last the story that I was looking for months ago. I haven't read that much of King's story so far and some months ago one of my good friend told me about a story that he had just read in a local magazine...
Rohossho Potrika (The Mystery Magazine) where they didn't mention the original author & the story name! It was an adaptation with only a note at the end that says: "Inspired by a foreign story". Anyways, this sorta things happen here very often so I was wondering about what's the original one & who the author is & whether there is any TV or Film adaptation made already or not. Cause I just liked the plot and finally I came to know that it was King's short story:
Survivor Type!
I haven't found any info on the net that whether it's have a film/TV adaptation or not but I like to know that whether you think that its worth or not to have a film (or a sub plot of a film) /TV adaptation and if it goes for a TV or full length feature film then who do you think can make a good one out of it.;)
Btw, I haven't seen
Cat's Eye (1985) yet; so I didn't know that one of my other favorite Stephen King's story
Quitter's Inc. have been made into a part of a movie which I'm looking forward to see in future.:)
