Stephen King's story that you like to see in movies

While doing the research for my latest challenge in HDC IDOL about the probable next film of Frank Darabont based on a short story of Stephen King, I have found at last the story that I was looking for months ago. I haven't read that much of King's story so far and some months ago one of my good friend told me about a story that he had just read in a local magazine...Rohossho Potrika (The Mystery Magazine) where they didn't mention the original author & the story name! It was an adaptation with only a note at the end that says: "Inspired by a foreign story". Anyways, this sorta things happen here very often so I was wondering about what's the original one & who the author is & whether there is any TV or Film adaptation made already or not. Cause I just liked the plot and finally I came to know that it was King's short story: Survivor Type!

I haven't found any info on the net that whether it's have a film/TV adaptation or not but I like to know that whether you think that its worth or not to have a film (or a sub plot of a film) /TV adaptation and if it goes for a TV or full length feature film then who do you think can make a good one out of it.;)

Btw, I haven't seen Cat's Eye (1985) yet; so I didn't know that one of my other favorite Stephen King's story Quitter's Inc. have been made into a part of a movie which I'm looking forward to see in future.:)
