I liked Penny Dreadful. :( I think that I went in with really low expectations and it exceeded them. It was a little gem.

One's I've Seen (and recommend)
- Oldboy (for whomever hasn't seen this film, it's an iconic Asian horror must)
- The Friedmans - Fascinating and creepy documentary about a father and son who were accused of child abuse in a fairly disputed case. The documentary tries to take a neutral look, showing both testimony for and against the parents. Pretty dark and awful content, but a really interesting film.
- Wristcutters: A Love Story - I hate the title of this movie. Obviously trying to be controversial, this is just an eccentric look of the afterlife for suicides; a strange little love story with Patrick Fugit and the ridiculously hot Shannyn Sossamon. Also with Tom Waits and has a killer soundtrack

- Right At Your Door - Horror movie of panic taking over LA after a dirty bomb is dropped.
