Actually its the opposite. Christmas so totally takes over that my b-day comes a far second.
My friends were busy with their families and guests from morning through the day, and it was only in the afternoon that most of em remembered it at all. (Its usually the same every year)
We dont bother with a party. The most it is would be a quiet get-together, share a few beers and chill out for a bit...maybe watch a movie together, stuff like that.
