Weirdly enough Lugosi only played Dracula twice and one of those times was in an Abbot and Costello comedy..

You have to love Lugosi even though he chews the scenary in everything he does. The Lee films are amazing - I have a real fondness for TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA as well as his most famous ones.

I also loved the Spanish version of Dracula not so much for Carlos Villarias (as Dracula) but a lot of way the scenes were done in it (especialy the ship). Lugosi and Fryre were far better than their spanish counterparts..
