Reminds me of an incident that happened closer to home... A coworker of my exboyfriend's son is a talented artist. When he was in middle school (this was two years ago), in art class he drew an apple and a pairing knife cutting a piece out of it (and it wasn't violent... It was seriously just a pairing knife and a slice of the apple was cut). The art teacher took this charcoal drawing to the principal who gave him inhouse suspension and called his mom into school.
